Hello All, or should I say, “Anybody Out There”?

I’m very new to writing song lyrics.  My first two efforts are displayed here.  I am a non musician, and have no clue about writing music.  Not surprisingly, I also don’t know anything about the music business, except what I’ve read so far.  I’m hoping to meet up with someone who likes my words and could compose a brilliant melody to go with my lyrics.  Maybe someone who has experience in the industry as well.  So, basically I’m just trying to put it out there and see what comes back.  Maybe I’ll write more here later.  Feel free to leave comments and contact info.
